A Home Birth Experience with Wasatch Midwifery

I stumbled upon this homebirth experience as a backup photographer for Julie Marks of Picture your Birth. Julie was sick with pneumonia when this Mama's labor began. It was an honor to be chosen & trusted in this Mama's birth space having never met this family before. I'm a firm believer most things in life happen for a reason and from the moment I arrived at this quick birth it was destiny. I arrived shortly after 3am and by 3:54am Mama was holding her precious baby girl.

Mama welcomed baby earth-side with the loving support of her husband & family nearby.
Mama was under the care of Adrienne Brown with Wasatch Midwifery & Wellness & supported by doula Karina Robinson with Utah Doula Services. This was the second time Adrienne & Karina supported this family though a birth experience.
