Motherhood Session FAQ
+ What other types of photography sessions do you offer?
Check out all the details for my motherhood, birth, & newborn sessions here.
+ What happens if you are at a birth on the day of our session?
This most certainly could happen, but it doesn’t happen often. If we find ourselves in this situation I will let you know as soon as possible and do my best to accommodate rescheduling you session within 48 hours.
+ How far do you travel?
I'm open to travel up to 40 miles from zip code 84108. My service area includes Layton to Bluffdale, Tooele to Park City and just about everything in between. If your session location is within 15 miles of zip 84108 you'll automatically receive a $25 off.
+ What is a Motherhood session and how long does it last?
Most Motherhood sessions last between 60-90 minutes. Motherhood sessions are all about honoring the journey to and through motherhood. If you find yourself struggling to get in front of the camera and in to your own family photographs this session is for you. Your Motherhood session could consist of maternity photos, breastfeeding photos or just you spending some precious time with your little babes.
+ Where does a Motherhood session take place?
This type of session takes place in your home, however, depending on your style it could take place anywhere. What matters most is that the location chosen is authentic to your daily life. Also, I don't care if your house is messy. Real life is messy. So i always suggest removing anything you don't want seen in the images, but don't make yourself crazy with trying to make everything perfect.
+ How do I dress for a Motherhood session?
Dress like you normally would. You can do a more dressed up version or laid back depending on your style and preference. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable, beautiful and like your authentic self. Also, something that can get dirty because we all know that when kids are involved mess tends to follow. If you're doing a breastfeeding session wear something that you can easily nurse in and that you and your baby are comfortable latching.
+ How soon should I book and when is the best time for a maternity session?
The best time to book your maternity session is when your belly is nice and big, before you get too uncomfortable and early enough so if baby comes you won't miss the window of opportunity. This is usually between 32-34-ish week, but do whatever is right for you.
+ How long until we receive our images?
Your images will be ready within 4-6 weeks from the session date. I'll notify you when your private online gallery is ready. Once ready, you'll be able to download all of your images, share them with friends and family if you wish, or keep them exclusively for yourself.
