Maternity Session FAQ's

+ What other types of photography sessions do you offer?

Check out all the details for my maternity, birth, & newborn sessions here.

+ What happens if you are at a birth on the day of our session?

This most certainly could happen, but it doesn’t happen often. If we find ourselves in this situation I will let you know as soon as possible and do my best to accommodate rescheduling you session within 48 hours.

+ How far do you travel?

I am available to travel within 15 miles of zip code 84108. An additional travel fee of $75 applies to locations 15-30 miles from 84108.

+ What is a Maternity session and how long does it last?

Maternity sessions are based on your personal style and are photographed with a documentary styled approach. You'll be un-posed with me providing direction only if a moment passes too quickly. You can be finishing up baby's nursery or even relaxing at home all barefoot and cozy. Maternity sessions can also be used to photograph a portion of your Mother's Blessing or Blessingway. You can also feature your beautiful bump with henna, belly painting, or casting. Maternity sessions last no more than 30-45 minutes.

+ Where does a Maternity session take place?

At your home snuggled up in your favorite spot or wherever your Blessingway takes place.

+ How do I dress for a Maternity session?

You want to be comfortable. Long flowy dresses are great for Blessingway's or barefoot in jeans also work well if we'll be indoors or in your home.

+ When do I book my Maternity session?

I recommend booking your session by the beginning of your second trimester, or sooner. Maternity sessions typically take place between 34 & 36 weeks.

+ When is my payment due?

A 30% non-refundable retainer fee is due upon signing your contract. All balances are due by your 30th week of pregnancy.

+ How long until we receive our images?

Your images will be ready within 2 weeks from the session date. I'll notify you when your private online gallery is ready. Once ready, you'll be able to download all of your images, share them with friends and family if you wish, or keep them exclusively for yourself.
